Mediation Readiness Quiz
Nine short questions to help you see whether mediation fits your situation, and what to do next. It is not a legal assessment, and your answers stay in your browser.
What the quiz looks at
Mediation works best when people can talk, have some time, and feel safe. The quiz asks about the type of matter, whether both sides are willing, safety, timing, any court involvement, outside advisors, how complex things are, and where you are. Your result points you to the right service, pricing page and guides.
Frequently asked questions
What does the Mediation Readiness Quiz tell me?
It gives you one of three starting points: ready to start, ready with some prep, or talk it through first. Each comes with practical next steps and links to the pages that fit your type of matter. It is a conversation starter, not a prediction of how mediation will go.
Is mediation right if I am afraid of the other person?
Not usually. If you fear violence, threats or control from the other person, mediation may not be safe or fair for you. The quiz will never score that situation as ready. The National Domestic Violence Hotline is free and confidential at 1-800-799-7233 or thehotline.org.
Does the quiz save or send my answers?
No. It runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is stored or sent to Olive Branch Mediation, and closing the page clears it. If you would like to talk it through, you can book a free 15-minute consult.
Prefer to talk it through?

Olive Branch Mediation is a private mediation practice, not a law firm. Mediator Sara M. Khan, J.D. does not give legal advice and is not a court-certified mediator.
